Caught up to Sakamoto. I like the feeling of the manga. It has lots of action and a great "sense of scope" in some of the scenes.

Ajin seems so much easier to read having watched the anime. For most of the experience I find myself placing both the music in the background, and the voices of the actors into the story. This also makes for a much faster read as I can just sift through new information. I guess having watched the anime before reading a manga can help put your mind in auto-pilot while reading, that might be good or bad depending on how what you have watched influences how you are reading.

I love full page spreads, that is, when the scene in the manga bursts from one side of the page to the other. My two currents favorites are the Umbrella scene in A girl on the Shore, and the mountain racing scene where Sakamichi is trying to catch up to Imaizumi in Yowamushi Pedal.

Recently, I read this manga called A girl on the Shore and I can't decide whether if it's a vulgar depiction of teen lust or a beautiful representation of the transitions one must go through before adulthood.

Just started reading this silent manga called Joshikausei. (Didn't even know silent manga was a thing) I'm finding that the lack of dialogue leaves more to the imagination, and facilitates the incorporation of sound into the manga reading experience. I also find myself laughing hysterically at plot driven almost solely by pictures, that's a new one!
