Meiya's beautiful, chivalrous, lovely, galant, homely, badass, caring and completely devoted (whether in love or war), (and obviously superior to that other heroine in every aspect) all at the same time. Frankly, I'm amazed that she haven't had her fanclub made yet... So here you go.

I'll gladly take your recommendation into account once I've find time (that won't be easy because of the steam summer sale, and some 150 go worth of anime I've still got to watch ><)

If I'm not mistaken, Horo is the heroine of spice and wolf, is that it ? (still another classic I got to watch)

Yeah, that speech manner is sweet :] Lafiel from Banner/Crest of the Stars (which BTW I can honestly recommend as one of the best romance/space operas - since you don't have it on your list) also uses this, the same as Crimson Saber from Fate/Extra (at least according to what my friend said), and together with Horo's courtesan's speech pattern it definitely became my favourite.

That "yurusu ga yoi" is just godly *_*

I was really surprised when I found out Okushima only had a few roles because I do think she is a talented voica actress, she literaly gave life to Meiya through her work. It's shame Meiya was her only big role.

Kishi-moe...lol, that might be appropriate xD

BTW, as a dose of random fanboying, I absolutely love how Okushima presented Meiya. That soft, yet distinguished voice, that elegant and lofty way she says "yurusu ga yoi"...

She might not have the most characteristic voice (think Wakamoto, Fukuyama or Noto Mamiko), but she sure did an excellent job conveying that sweet personality.

Yeah, I know. After MuvLuv I suddenly grew a Kishi-Moe (A term I created just now) I guess ^_^
