The Royal Arms Tournament

<strong><u><div style="text-align: center;">Premise</strong></u><!--center--></div> <div style="text-align: center;">As the Tale of Messor's return plays out over the Kingdom of Vineria, another story is about to unfold. Far, Far north of Vineria lies the continent of Krokar. Its is a harsh land, ravaged by centuries of civil war. At one time, numerous Warlords fought and vivied for control of the land. But that all ended 50 years ago, with the arrival of Zalus and his Mymerdons. Singlehandedly, they subdued the Warlords, and conquered all of Krokar under thier rule. Zalus believed that Krokar was a place where the strong ruled. To the Victor goes the spoils. And his final act as Lord was the ultimate manifestation of this belief. The Royal Arms Tournament. Despite its name, the tournament was designed to be open to all, from peasants to noble. Every 10 years, fighters from across Krokar would duel, to decide the next Lord of Krokar. Zalus made a pact with the Skiitarii, an insect-like race of Humaniods that resided within the various mountainsides that cover Krokar's surface. They were a completely impartial people, and as such would make the perfect judges. With his army of loyal soldiers, Zalus destroyed the FireAnts that hunted the Skiitarri, and gained their eternal loyalty. Next he went to the legendary Alchemist, Halion. He commissioned the creation of the Royal Rings. They would serve an important role in the tournament, being a symbol of a contestants right to rule. Within each ring was a combination of field and summoning magic. Whenever two contestant agreed to a duel, it would seal of the immediate area, and summon a Skiitarii to oversee the upcoming battle. The knowledge of how these rings were forged was kept within the Lord's Laboratory, and all of Halion descendants were secured a place in the Lord's Castle. On the day of Zalus's death, the notice of the First Royal Arms Tournament went out throughout Krokar. 60 years have pasted since that fateful, and once again a New Lord of Krokar must be decided. <!--center--></div> <strong><u><div style="text-align: center;">Dueling System</strong></u><!--center--></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> - Each Duel will take within a special thread. Only the contestants and Skiitarii may post there. - There will be a posting order. The Skiitarii will take the first and last post. The Contestants will post one after another. - Each contestant will start off with 100HP. Depending on the opponent's creativity,grammar and way of telling,also on how well he/she portrays the attack, the Skiitarii will edit your post,with how many points you lost per turn,and how many you have left. - When a combatant has its points reduced to 0,the match is over.Or,the one with the most HP left at the end of the time-limit wins. - You must win at least 5 Duels to secure a place in the finals.
