They could have easily of done it in 3 books like the Last Airbender. Aang had one major enemy and that was obviously Ozai. Korra had one major enemy alas, that was Amon. They could've put Korra through more of an adventure and showed the terrors and trials she was going through to learn Airbending. Sure, Meelo and Bolin was our comic relief and Korra was pretty hilarious at times but.. I dunno. I was expecting the same feel from Last Airbender with Korra. I don't even think Korra should belong on Nick. There are so many mature points in that series for kids younger then 11.

yeah, i read that there's going to be a second book. even so... the series is so damn intriguing that they could keep going. they know the franchise only makes money; it's a shame to not make the second series just as long as the first.

I just watched it through again with the boyfriend. He really enjoyed it and I was able to catch little things I missed the first time.

Yes, I agree with everyone that it was a bit rushed through and they could have made it at least another 5 episodes longer.

But from what I have read, there is going to be a second book. They started storyboarding and animating at the beginning of June.

I agree with lobkestar in that it was rushed. I'm also kind of disappointed at how neatly that was tied up... and yet, at the same time, some crucial points were not really explained. I've heard both that they're only doing this one chapter and that they're doing two... but they could have easily (with what happened) left the series open for three more chapters like the original series.
