This club is for those who are tired of meaningless panty shots, fan service and harem crap. This is for mangas with actual content, and storylines that make ecchi necessary and logical, not just some random girlfriend appearence from outter space or some other thing like that.

On the contrary, there IS actually a club that focuses on romance as a genre ;D In fact, there are a few of those (fairly popular) that include anime and manga both, e.g. this one http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=2590 or this one http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=29265 I like the idea of this club specifically because it helps manga readers that are searching for that specific combo of seinen, ecchi and romance (manga, not anime, anime censorship is too much for this) and narrowing the club's goals would be of profit.

hmmmm I think you're right but, if I start one by myself then soon enough I'll get tired of it and it will have the same end as this one. I'm waiting for the people who will manage the club with me not simply members.
I'd like to start a club that focuses on romance because there isn't one, and it doesn't matter what kind of subplot the manga has as long as there is a love story involved. Thats my goal.

I'm not really in a hurry thats why I'm taking it slow, and you sound like you like the idea so why not ;)

Like you said, not wanting a club to die means you have to work out :D Simply waiting for volunteers is basically the same as what we do here, simply waiting for people to show up and start being active. On account of the suggestions, if you are to start a new club with the same goals, broadening the description would also be of use (e.g. Seinen Ecchi Romance Comedy or sth else).

Well I get what you mean. But I think this one died cause there was only one leader, if there is more than one I suppose we could pull through. Besides, no club started out popular, we'll have to work for it to be recognized. There is a lot of fans of this genera (romance) so I think this may worth it.

You know, this is merely a suggestion and I know enough not to start one by myself, so I'm waiting for volunteers.

Creating dozens of clubs with the same purpose is pointless. After all, these small clubs all have the same fate in the end. Not to mention that MAL's manga database is pretty limited in order to pique people's interest. If a new club should be started, could you maintain it for more time than this one has survived? Or, if seeing how little interest there is, you'd abandon it?

well I was really drawn to this club because of the intro, but it seems its already dead.
So, I have a suggestion. Why don't we start a new club with the same goals.
