Daihon Academy - A Roleplay

<div style="text-align: center;"><u><strong>Daihon Academy<!--center--></div></u></strong> <div style="text-align: center;"> Located on the Man-Made island of Sekigahara, it is considered to be one of the most Prestigious Boarding school in all of Japan, with people flocking from all over the world, hoping to gain admitance. It is widely believed that any who successfully graduate from there is destined for greatness. And there is plenty of evidence to support this theory, with some of the world's most influential people having attended Daihon. <!--center--></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> But that is just on the surface. The <em>real</em> Daihon Academy is a vicious and brutal world, were the strong feed on the weak. The campus is ruled by Four Clans who, using the abilities attained through the <em>Shekigei</em> Mark, vy for control of the school and the mysterious powers nestled within.<!--center--></div> <div style="text-align: center;">Who will prevail? As the rivers flow with blood and countless lie dead, which clan will survive and stand above all?<!--center--></div> <div style="text-align: center;">Students Stand, Bow and Arm Yourselves. Let the Final Deathmatch....Begin!<!--center--></div> <div style="text-align: center;"><u><strong>Clans<!--center--></div></u></strong> <u>Senmetsu, The North</u> <div class="spoiler"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.nextSibling.nextSibling.style.display='block';this.style.display='none';" value="Show spoiler"> <span class="spoiler_content" style="display:none"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.parentNode.style.display='none';this.parentNode.parentNode.childNodes[0].style.display='block';" value="Hide spoiler"><br>A group of leftovers and carefree misfits, who don't fit in with the other clans. They really couldn't give a rats ass about the ongoing war between the other clans, believing the whole thing to be stupid and a waste of time. But don't dare mistake their peaceful nature as a sign of weakness. They actually process quite a few powerful members, and when attacked, will not hesitate to defend themselves. Their base resembles that of a typical High School Dormitory, located in the Northern part of Campus. They too have no set uniform, wearing whatever they want. They also have no overall goal or aim, simply wishing to survive and enjoy their school life until graduation. Their clan symbol is that of a Crow, perched on one leg. They are generally viewed as the most harmless clan. Senmetsu Clan members have are a mixture of all three Shekigei types.<!--spoiler--></span></div> <u>Gouka, The West</u> <div class="spoiler"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.nextSibling.nextSibling.style.display='block';this.style.display='none';" value="Show spoiler"> <span class="spoiler_content" style="display:none"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.parentNode.style.display='none';this.parentNode.parentNode.childNodes[0].style.display='block';" value="Hide spoiler"><br>A clan comprised of battle lovers, who consider strength to be most important. They live by the code “Survival of the Fittest”. The stronger you are, the more power and privileges you have within the clan. Consequently, the weaker members are basically treated as slaves, looked down upon by the others. They have no ultimate goal, instead simply looking for that next worthy opponent. Gouka Clans base resembles that of a martial arts Dojo, and resides in the western parts of the campus. They have no set uniform, though many prefer to wear attire that allows easy mobility. Their clan symbol is that of a giant gloved fist, with the Yin-Yang symbol printed in the middle of the palm. They are considered the most viscous of the Four Clans, and have some of the strongest members in the whole school. Gouka Clan Members mainly wield a 'Reflexive' - Type Shekigei.<!--spoiler--></span></div> <u>Dai Yaguruma, The East</u> <div class="spoiler"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.nextSibling.nextSibling.style.display='block';this.style.display='none';" value="Show spoiler"> <span class="spoiler_content" style="display:none"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.parentNode.style.display='none';this.parentNode.parentNode.childNodes[0].style.display='block';" value="Hide spoiler"><br>The most traditional of the Four Clans, resembling that of Modern Day Yakuza. They consider both Pride and Honor to be the most important aspects of any warrior, punishing any who would bring shame to the clan. Their Ultimate Goal is to use the power and reputation of the school to expand their influence, gaining superiorority over others on a more political/economic scale. Because their ideal's clash, they see Hakkou Ichiu as their main competitors, and vice versa. Their base is that of a Large, Japanese-Style Estate, taking up the eastern section of the campus. They wear traditional Japanese clothing, and their clan symbol is that of two snakes, beautifully interwined. They are considered the most cunning of the four clans, having some of the smartest minds in the school as members. Dai Yaguruma clan members usually wield 'Manipulative' - Type Shekigei<!--spoiler--></span></div> <u>Hakkou Ichiu, The South</u> <div class="spoiler"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.nextSibling.nextSibling.style.display='block';this.style.display='none';" value="Show spoiler"> <span class="spoiler_content" style="display:none"><input type="button" class="button" onClick="this.parentNode.style.display='none';this.parentNode.parentNode.childNodes[0].style.display='block';" value="Hide spoiler"><br>A clan of religious zealots who worship Enoch, 'God's Champion', and believe that the current world is corrupt and rotten. Their ultimate goal is to remake the world in their own image, creating a perfect 'World of Unity'. Their base resembles that of a Christian church, and is located in the Southern area of the campus. All clan members wear Pure White uniforms, with the clans symbol of the the holy circle and inverted cross printed on the back. They are considered one of the most dangerous of the Four Clans, not only having the highest Member count among all other clans, but also the most influential ones as well. Each mark tends to grow and spread on its host's body, and appears to have a mind on its own,some even the ability to talk and reason with their wielders). While releasing its power, a Shekigei shows a Raven's eye in its center. There are three types of Shekigei: 'Reflexive' Powers that directed affect the user 'Targeted' Powers that affect other people, within a specific range 'Manipulative' Powers that affect elements and the enviroment around the user. Normally, People can only wield one type of Shekigei. However, it has recently become known of people who process 'Dual-Type' Shekigei, than combine two half marks to make a whole. They often turn their wielder into bizarre, if not monstrous shapes. It unfair and just no fun. You will be warned, then prosecuted. Same goes for those who join and then refuse to make a character. - Everyone is allowed a Maximum of two, repeat TWO, characters. If you chose to do so, make sure to put their name before posting. It stops people from getting confused. - Its highly likely that your character(s) will be killed at some point. Accept it. If, and when, that happens, simply create new ones. And don't worry, there are also plenty of nameless Cannon-Fodder for you to MurderKill. - Only Me and the Admins are allowed to create threads. We are also the only ones able to use NPC's, unless said otherwise. - Just to be clear, Yes, Romance is allowed. But nothing too...steamy, ok? - Oh, and enjoy yourself.
