<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 200%;"><strong>Welcome... to <em>In<span style="color:darkred">famous<!--color--></span></em></strong><!--size--></span><!--center--></div> ____________________________________________________________________________________________ <strong>Synopsis:</strong> The Deck of 52 are actually four separate suits, or gangs. Spades, Clubs, Hearts and Diamonds. Each suit is against one another. Each card in the suit has a special duty to perform. Note that you can be in the suit and not be a card. The cards themselves are high ranking officers. The higher, the better. The rest of the suit members who are not cards will be kept in a separate thread from here. The duties of the cards are; Aces - Govern the Kings' decisions and control all of the suit what so ever; Kings - Govern the whole suit, and make changes; Queen - Similar to King, except less power than the King himself; Jack - The King's right hand man, acts as his defender and in charge of all the men; Numbers 10 - 2 are the Jack's men, protecting the king and the law of the King, sort of like police. The rest of the suit's members that are not cards are just like privates in the suit. The Jokers' rolls are varied. They can help any gang at some point in time for various reasons. They are a wild card. The Spades are known for the fear they put into people, they are known to be lethal and dangerous, and so people do not fuck with them most of the time. Clubs are the strong willed bravehearts, they stand and fight till the last breath. Hearts are known for their grace and style. Diamonds are the richest of all suits, the wealthiest people in Infamous, and come with the most skill. <span style="font-size: 200%;"><strong>Time Line of Events</strong><!--size--></span> <strong>..in progress</strong> <strong><u>The Deck of 52</u></strong> <strong>1954</strong>: Organized crime separates into four major crime syndicates, dubbing themselves the Suits in a Deck of 52. The Spades, the Clubs, the Hearts and the Diamonds. The major leaders calling themselves Aces, following with Kings, Queens Jacks and the full suits. <strong><u>Tension in a Suit</u></strong> <strong>1966</strong>: 12 years under the supervision of the Aces, the suits have somewhat evolved into more political machines rather than mafia-like activity. With the conflict in Vietnam, the Diamonds began funding for weaponry to aid the soldiers. The Spades, however, did not like this and so they halted all operations of the funding. The Diamonds couldn't stand it, but still sat idly by. <strong>1975</strong>: The bitterness had grown within the Diamonds and their hatred for the Spades for halting all the operations due to the withdrawal of troops from Vietnam. The Diamonds knew that if the funding continued, it would have made a huge difference.. and profit. <strong><u>War of Suits</u></strong> <strong>1980</strong>: The growth of the Deck was astounding, splitting the city into 4 major sections. The Kings / Queens, in the duty of their Aces, took control of the city politically. Roots ran extremely deep within the government and so the city was theirs. <strong>1983</strong>: With the stress of the conflict in Vietnam passing, the Diamonds still held bitter resentment. They took it upon themselves to attack a lower section of the Club's territory in order to gain land. For awhile, it worked, but the Clubs called upon the Spades in order to flush out the stolen territory. The Spades demanded heavy payment of the Clubs, which put them into heavy debt. <strong>1985</strong>: The Diamonds, lacking numbers, made a deal with the Hearts in order to progress further and attempt to take the Spades. The Hearts, just like the Spades, demanded a hefty sum of money. This led the Diamonds to bankruptcy and heavy debt. <strong>1986</strong>: The Spades learned of the Diamonds' plan and prepared. The clubs couldn't get out of debt with the Spades, and so the Spades declared war upon them. The hearts demanded the debt be re-payed of the Diamonds, but they refused. The Diamonds at this point had access to more resources in the middle east and oil, blowing up their bank and making them filthy rich. The Hearts then declared war upon the Diamonds, who were planning on declaring war on the Spades. The Spades had declared war on the Clubs, and the Clubs had asked the Hearts for help. The Hearts knew that the Clubs were in debt and couldn't pay so they spat in the Clubs' face and told them to fend for themselves. This made things shifty between the two. <strong>1987</strong>: The Clubs had ambushed a supply truck for the Diamonds in order to gain some leverage with their bank problems and weapons. The Diamonds knew this would have been an act of war. Therefore, as conpensation, the Diamonds managed to assassinate the Ace of Clubs. Leaving the Clubs in disorder. <strong>1988</strong>: The entire Deck is at war with each other at this point. With the casualties increasing with each suit, each super power progressively started to break into chaos. Besides the Clubs, the Diamonds was the second suit to go into complete bankruptcy. <strong>1989</strong>: The Ace of Diamonds is killed in one of the safety rooms of their main bank. Death was caused by an explosion throughout the entire building, completely destroying it. The assassins being from the Spades, the Diamonds had to act fast. However, with the bankruptcy and the death of many of its members, it was all a downward spiral from there. <strong>1990</strong>: With the Club's & Diamonds almost extinct with each other, the Spades having the least amount of casualties begins to expand its territory by taking over most of the turfs controlled by Clubs & Diamonds.
