Fanbases Ruin Everything

It's exactly what the title says. Fanbases ruin everything. Fangirls, fanboys, fanfiction, it's all the same, and all equally terrible. All fanboy-ism does in the long run is isolate people more and more into a very narrow mindset. It is, in fact, the mindset that all people that loathe anime fans for. Here's a couple of examples: 1) Needy. Someone died? "This show sucks!!1x_x *kills self*" Not cute/moe enough? "Rowrow where's my Konachan." 2) High handed superiority complex: "Oh, you watch dubs? SCOFF" "Feh, everyone watches that anime, you should watch _______________ instead." I mean, to each their own tastes. Enjoy what you like. But when it becomes borderline fetishism, you've likely got a problem. This could go on for pages. Join here if you agree.
