This anime club was founded after a few of my friends and I were sick of not having an anime club for college-aged people that wasn't associated with any school or libraries. Therefore, after Anime Central 2008, the Otaku Rangers had begun.
This anime club screens many different genres of anime, including more mature ones that other anime clubs associated with an institution have regulations on. I feel that exploring as many outlets of this art-form is a good way to be well-rounded in outlooks within the anime realm.
Usually after viewing an episode, we like to discuss it briefly before continuing onto the next episode. Doing this lets us know what we should continue to watch as well as what we should cease viewing.
The Otaku Rangers are an active group within West Chester, OH (that's near Cincinnati). This includes regular club meetings, convention outings, and any other anime-related event happening in our area.
Even if you don't live in the Cincinnati area, we try our best to keep our members involved in our anime club. We regularly post on our facebook group page under "Otaku Rangers" so that everyone is updated at the same time for the various events going on.
