<strong>This club is for people who love sentai styled magical girl anime and manga!</strong>
Confused? Let me explain!
If you are an anime fan I am sure you are familiar with "mahou shoujo" (magical girl) series. Well, among them you can find sentai magical girls.
Sentai literally means "fighting squadron" and in modern times it is used to refer to the "superhero team" genre of TV shows in Japan. (think: Power Rangers)
These shows typically involve a team of five or so people who are given the ability to transform into powerful warriors (each represented by a differnt color) that fight against evil. (you know, starting with the usual "monster of the week")
The most common example used for sentai magical girls is Sailor Moon. This is because Sailor Moon was actually the first mahou shoujo series to use sentai elements! (Sailor Moon's creator Naoko Takeuchi is a big fan of sentai shows)
As I am sure you know, Sailor Moon was a huge success and the formula has been used again many times to create more great anime and manga series.
So if you love these shows feel free to join.

Notice: As the Magical Girl genre evolves it becomes increasingly vague as to what series should belong to this club. I have been including series with the following criteria:
1) magical girls that transform
2) team of at least two
3) each represented by a color
Sentai mahou shoujo anime has moved beyond the formula seen in Sailor Moon and Pretty Cure to include many different themes such as transforming into animals (Sweet Valerian) or a darker atmosphere (Puella Magi Madoka Magica)
Feel free to suggest any series which you feel should be included in the anime list!
Although there are several hentai anime which fit the definition, I have not included any hentai series in the list. (However there is some "ecchi")

Wow this club has entered its fourth year! The anime list was accidentally deleted (oops!) so I have re-added all of the associated series. Hopefully I didn't miss anything. I also added a bunch of newer series so the club should be up to date now. I finally started making a club logo/banner. It is about time! It should be done soon.

WOW, I haven't updated the club since 2007! Well I stopped watching anime for a long time plus I have been very busy. There are probably some new series I've missed that need to be added. :( Hopefully I can get around to it but no promises. I just don't have a lot of time for anime anymore ;o;
