Japanese 101: Beginning Japanese

While there is no one "correct" way to learn Japanese, there are some steps that may be helpful in gettin started. If you have access to a classroom setting - like an acutal class - then please take advantage of the opportunity. <strong>NOTE:</strong> We have no teachers here. Some people may be more knowledgeable than others. At the same time, there's nothing wrong with being a n00b. After all, gotta start somehow, right? Regardless, the responsibility of learning Japanese will fall under your own jurisdiction. So, if you happen to be confused about something, we'll be able to name some people who can answer your questions. Sadly, Kyuu is not one of them.
