Taro moves from one place to another, following his father who works as a traveling artist. Before he met Tsubasa at Nankatsu, he played with Hyuga, Takeshi and Ken at Meiwa and with Matsuyama at Furano. Taro is sweet, kind and loyal to his friends. He is also sensitive to everybody's feelings. Taro is a tender-hearted boy who is always smiling. But don't underestimate him because he is just as skillful as Tsubasa. He's a skillful helper on the tournament, and is able to use both legs. He has a younger sister, who he was injured covering her from the accident during World Youth.
