Both of these anime have cute characters, humour, and pure plotless fun. The only difference is that Lucky Star deals with everyday people while Magipoka has magical creatures in it. So if you're ever tired and just want something mindless to watch, go for it!

These both have very similar styles of comedy with lots of sight gags and general silliness. They are also both very slice of life, with very little to no character development or ongoing plot to get in the way of the craziness. They're also both ecchi, but self aware of it.

In Renkin San-kyuu Magical? Pokaan, several characters are in a new environment, while in Non Non Biyori only one is. Both have a largely female cast, and character-based humor. Both shows have an element of whimsy, but while Majipoka is supernatural, Non Non Biyori is more simply carefree.

Both place fantastic creatures in the modern world. Magipoka focuses more on culture shock though.

Both have girls discussing random nonsense for comedic effect. In both, comedy is effected or enhanced by the interplay among major characters.

Both series make over the top Moe humour, with similar feel to both series.

Both have a similar sense of humour, playing around with the most common Moe patterns all the while not taking themselves seriously. Both series are short, which gives them a more dynamic feel than other lenghier titles, but do not rush, since they have to give enough time for the jokes, obscure references and bizarre character choices to sink in. Overall, both are extremelly enjoyable series.

Both feature Aya Hirano and Hitomi Nabatame. Their roles in Magipoka are analogous to Queen's Blade, especially Aya's if you know the full character arc of Nanael.

Both shows are more episodic than season length arc, kind of random, and humorous.

- Both are very lighthearted slice of life series about powerful girls from other worlds trying their best to fit into the human world. - Both series have very similar style of humor, focusing on culture shock and misunderstaning the way humans live their lives. - Both series have lots of very cute, moe girl characters. - Both series have some fanservice and risque moments, Magipoka being the "heavier" one in that department (although not by much).

Wacky slapstick comedies with cutesy art styles about four female friends with different funny personalities. The girls in both are just trying to survive the misfortunes thrown at them and end up in hilarious situations.

Both are oddball supernatural comedies that are mainly episodic in nature, and both can be watched without engaging higher brain functions :)

Both are oddball anarchic, and a little bit ecchi, and both are very funny in some "wrong" ways.

They're both 4 girl moe comedy/slice of life shows with a supernatural twist.

These anime are about a band of girls going on various adventures, though things don’t always go as well as planned. Also, the girls are really attracted to guys and like to fight over them. Magipoka could be considered fantasy, while Galaxy Angel is sci-fi. Both are very cute and funny, so you can't go wrong with either. The personalities of the characters also mirror each other: Liru = Forte (tomboyish and has the hots for men), Pachira = Mint (egotistic and sometimes plays tricks on the other girls), Yuuma = Milfeulle (happy-go-lucky, but somewhat airheaded), Aiko = Normad?? (I dunno, they’re both robots and  read more

They're both Shoujo and Shoujo Ai, which makes them both unique. Also, both have pretty much the same quality in animation and storyline which is why I recommend it.

In both works a team of supernatural beings. Both have a similar humor.
