Both horror with a lot of mystery and questions. You may think you know something but then later you find you that you were totally off. Full of surprises.

A phone that grants and determines the one winner of the last one standing.

The main characters are both antisocial, and some what of cowards at first. They are forced to play a game and fight for their lives, killing other players in the process. While the female protagonist in Btooom! is not a Yandere, she does give the main character a reason to fight, similar to what Yuuno gives Yuki.

This anime is also gory and touching than Mirai Nikki. The story line is not at all the same. Besides, I do not recommend this for busy people who love sweet animated and happy stories (because the name does not leave at all presage the future!).

They both depict people trying to survive a weird conspiracy that has shaped their lives and because of those circumstances, people die.

Both are short OVAs based on manga by the same creator, so they have a somewhat similar artstyle as well.

Two very well-written yanderes, working hard to protect their loved ones from a dark, violent world. Happy Sugar Life is a good bit more disturbing than Mirai Nikki, but if you liked Yuno Gasai and are tired of finding yandere characters that try and fail to replicate her, you will also love Satou Matsuzaka not because she tries to mimic the infamous Goddess of Yanderes but because she carries the yandere genre in a way that is very compelling and unique to her character and story. Also, both shows are very short at only one season each.

Shows concentrate on a game in which in order to survive u must kill other players. To my mind Mirai Nikki is a better version of Danganronpa with lots of plot twists, unexpected miraculous actions and diversified characters.

Both have Yandere characters. Blazblue has Nu-13 and Mirai Nikki has Yuno. Both are battle oriented and have a bit of a romance going. Both are about capturing and defeating opponents in either a survival game(Mirai Nikki) or a bounty(BlazBlue) Both have good detail in terms of animation and are epic, even though BlazBlue is more of a supernatural anime and Mirai Nikki falls more in the line of a psychological thriller.
