Tiny chibi girls live in the forest, catch rides on small animals, and try to earn a living.

Both anime are fairly short in episode run time, employ a more rural setting, and are just fun and relaxing to watch. The main character of both is very cute.

Both are comedies from rural enviroment about a group of chibi girls. Both have short episodes.

Both of them are having slow pacing time, thought binchou-tan art style is more into chibish. I can feel both of them have the same atmosphere where you go "easy-going-life", "life without pressure", "go easy" stuff.

Moe slice-of-life with a warm and fuzzy feeling, lush landscapes and cute, imaginative use of magical realism.

Both shows are very relaxing to watch. Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge is more comedy focused and has a little more meat to the plot, but it and Bincho-tan have the same atmosphere perfect for unwinding. There are also chibi characters involved in both.

chill iyashikei sol hidden gems with beautiful scenery and light comedy, very easy to fall asleep to IN A GOOD WAY THOUGH, and both are short, making them great to pick up since they have little commitment needed

Apart from the fact that Flanders no Inu is a drama, both are very similar in two respects. The first is that both animes have protagonists who go out to work, and the second is that both are relaxing. Of course, Flanders no Inu doesn't keep at the same pace all the time, since after a certain part the anime's drama increases a lot.

in both anime, every episode starts with main character(s) waking up at the morning and most episodes end at the same day (in fact all of Hidamari Sketch eps end at the same day but already forget whether all episodes of Binchou-tan was like that or not) Also while Hidamari Sketch is very much more of a "nichijou-kei" series rather than being an "iyashikei" show, both anime are pretty chill. Also both have great soundtracks though that doesn't necessarily mean that if you like Hidamari Sketch OST, you will like Binchou-tan OST or vice versa but in both the OST really improve their series

Saccharine-overdosed slice-of-life anime with cute diminutive girls.

Both anime have same cute and chibi characters...

Both are episodic slice of life tales, and whilst Aria may the more popular, Binchou-tan has a charm all of it's own - a worthy rival to the series.

If you like this show about pretty much nothing, than you might like this other show about pretty much nothing.

A quite similar feel and atmosphere on the main character although Ikoku Meiro no Croisée has a more developed story.

Binchou-tan and Tamayura (OVA only, the TV show is is boring) are both very relaxing slice-of-life anime that show the normal life of a group of people.

These anime are both about a "small" individual taking care of their own life, having a similar and peaceful atmosphere together with the loveliness of each episode just makes up for a fantastic series!
