Based on manga from Fujiko F Fujio, the main character is a boy and a robot friend that helps (or gets helped by) him in lots of adventures he has with a similar group of friends, a fat violent boy, a slim smart ass boy and a nice girl, whom he has a crush. Of course, it has the same feel, almost like they're the same anime.

Both contains a boy with glasses as a main character. Korosuke share similar traits of Doreamon, Miyoko share similar traits of Shizuka, Buta Gorilla share similar traits of Gyan. They both have similar art style and friend ship with each others. They both contains use of high class inventions and Time travel is mostly used. They both have comedy and main character helps others even after being bullied by his friends. Both series shares a number of interests.

Both are long running episodical tv series with hundreds of episodes about a boy and their robot companion. If you enjoy anime for children, you will likely enjoy these.

The premises of both shows are similar: an eccentric genius (Senbei Norimaki/Kiteretsu) builds a silly robot that is capable of acting just like a human (Arale Norimaki/Korosuke), and slice-of-life hilarity ensues. Mami Koyama and Kazuko Sugiyama also play major characters on both shows (specifically, the same major character on separate occasions).
