Fairy tales. In MSM fairy tales are more loyal to original fairy tales. In SMB stories are parodies of fairy tales with Super Mario Brothers' cast.

Fairy tales. I am making this recommendation so that people can find fairy tales. It is difficult to find them by only searching. Jiu Se Lu is folk lore and has only one episode. Manga Sekai Mukashibanashi has many episodes and they are more like fairy tales. Both are old but have different art styles. I liked both and can highly recommend. Especially I like Jiu Se Lu's moral lecture and showing human nature.

Fairy tales. In SASMG or Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater Sanrio characters perform in theater stage. There are also other anime fairy tales with Sanrio characters. SASMG is comedy, parody. MSM is more serious.

Both of these anime are vintage collections of adaptations of famous western stories for children, with a typical late 70's animation style.

Episodical omnibus of adaptations of various fairy tailes with the aesthetics of 70's animaton. While Andersen Monogatari adapts stories by Andersen and Manga Sekai Mukashibanashi has a wider range of origin of the stories, Manga Sekai Mukashibanashi still adapts mainly clasic western stories.

Both are anthologies of animated versions of famous fairy tailes and other stories mainly for children. Some episodes of these shows even adapt the same original material.
