- Comedy harem with similar vibes - Main heroine is a tsundere - Both stories revolve around an encounter from the past (childhood) - MC and heroine are forced to be together due they family expectations other notes: - Nisekoi is funnier and more comedy centered, Kurakon is more focused on the MC and heroine relationship - both animes are just partially animated, so if you like them a lot you might need to check out the manga or light novel

- Main characters from both shows are similar in terms of dynamics; male and female mc's have a competitive rivalry - both female mc's exhibit tsundere-like behavior - style of comedy is somewhat similar

They have almost nothing in common at the beginning, where they do have more similarities is from the middle. Saito is just as withdrawn as Makoto, who consequently when a girl tries to seduce him he falls into his arms, without establishing clear limits; being someone else's boyfriend. Himari is the cheerful girl who is a faithful friend of the main girl, who at a certain point pretends to be Saito's girlfriend to eliminate gossip, as a "noble" act to help the duo, hiding her true intentions; to lower the boyfriend to her friend, like Sekai. Akane doesn't even know what she wants, so she accepts Himari's help  read more

Both deal with marriage in highschool and living together, although Fuufu Ijou is a marriage practical (fake marriage for school). In both they do eventually grow closer as well.
