What's a guy to do when his life suddenly changes while innocently enjoying a nice, cold drink after work? And I mean really changes. This middle-aged commoner now finds himself in the body of Liam Hamilton, the young son of a noble house teetering on the brink of collapse. Between his fervidly desperate father and his utterly apathetic brothers, the only bright side to his new situation is that Liam can finally try learning magic like he's always wanted. Little does he know his hobby of choice may be about to turn his life upside-down yet again! Will Liam be able to master the craft of magic? And will it be enough to save him from the shadow looming over his family...?

I enjoyed it!

This anime is another fun and simple fantasy show about learning magic, being a noble and creating a nation! Everything about this show may seem generic, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it! Animation and style is very pleasant, its colorful and vibrant. Characters are alright, to say the least, but voice actors deserve a lot of praise! Story is interesting as of right now, it has a nice build up to where could this journey possibly lead us.

Overall, I think you should give this show a chance. Its very easy to watch, I had a great time relaxing with ... it. I may not be very objective, but if a show can make me smile and overall be feel happier, I count that as a good show!

Wow...that was ass.

This anime is an adaptation of the light novel of the same name, written by Miki Nazuna.

Miki aims to be the fastest in the industry, and boy, oh boy, he IS FAST. THIS GUY HAS 15+ UNFINISHED STORIES—15! And most of them are pretty much copy-paste: "cheat this," "cheat that," "I got a cheat and now I have girls slobbering over my meat," "I’m weak, but I can actually destroy the world." His writing ability is on par with a Wattpad fanfic writer.

And this anime is one of his concoctions that, for some mysterious reason, was approved to be animated. You might ask, ... "Is there anything special about this?"

The answer is a resounding FUCK NO. It’s not. It’s basically the same SHIT

It’s just the same story about a guy who’s apparently so powerful, mighty, and genius in magic that he can wipe out his entire coterie of nemesis as easily as he wipes his ass. Then, everyone around him praises and loves him, practically glazing the fuck out of him. And, of course, you’ve got the occasional “bullies” who pick on the MC for no reason, only for the MC to pull off a cool magic move, leaving the bullies’ jaws dropping: “GASP, THAT’S SO COOL, I COULD NEVER...” And then also he got beautiful females slobbering on his meat,praising him like he was the second coming of Jesus.

Some of you might say, "Ah, an anime doesn’t need to be original; you can just turn your brain off and enjoy it." Most of the time, I would agree. But even if you “turn off your brain,” which is an advice I often throw around when approaching this type of anime, it doesn’t really work here. There’s literally nothing to enjoy. The story is boring, the characters are bland, the animation is mediocre,the fanservice and ecchi element is barely there and the music is basically just a stock fantasy soundtrack.

The author has so many other works. You want something with hard ecchi? He’s made one. You want something with more brutal action? He’s made one.

But for some reason, this is the one that got picked to be animated. WHY?

The only "good" thing about this anime is the heroines, because they are voiced by well-known and beloved voice actors. Despite having bland character designs, they are still generally good-looking—but that’s definitely not enough.

Overall, this anime is far from the best choice to watch, even if you have plenty of spare time. Honestly, even if you’re unemployed with absolutely nothing better to do, I’d still recommend picking literally any other show over this one. There’s barely anything here to make it worth your time.

The anime feels as if the author is etiher having a dementia or commitment issues. It forgets characters that were introduced but are only included for 2-3 episodes, And each episode there is a new character whom usually were against mc first but then side with them instantly after small confrontation. The in-depth magic explanation was great at the beginning but the mc is so op to the point that it becomes irrelevant. The artstyle is generic, the music is generic, the whole thing is just generic.

Just skip this hot pile of garbage, there are tons of anime that are way better than this.
