Both shows have very similar atmosphere, because they're made by the same author, Honobu Yonezawa. If you like one of these and are into mystery and slice-of-life, you'll definitely enjoy the other one.

They both have mystery elements in them with the protagonist trying to solve them with their recreations of the events on their minds. They are both dialogue-heavy so you will have to pay attention to understand what is going on.

While comparisons to Hyouka will be made, because they are made by the same author, the first show that came to mind when watching the first episode was Super Cub. Both this shows have a very down-to-earth approach to the storytelling, where there seems to be things happening, but not much drama going on, and the beautiful animation and music just make it kind of a relaxing experience. If you liked Super Cub, I think you'd like Shoushimin Series. And if you like this realistic, relaxing down-to-earth tone, you'll like Super Cub

They share a melancholic atmosphere and a dialogue-driven narrative. Both are characterized by well-crafted puzzles, a contest of wits between male and female characters, and the fact that the anti-hero is a schoolgirl.

These two series both have to do with a duo solving mysteries. On a positive note however, Kamonoshashi Ron deals with not easily solved common sense cases unlike Shoushimin Series wasting an entire episode just to find out a guy put an entire carton of milk in the microwave. If you enjoy solving mysteries, these two series are nice mystery-solving shows.
