Fruits Basket 1st Season addpermalink

- Both have friendly female main protagonists who live in a house full of spirit boys. 
- They try to clean the house while teaching the boys what it means to be human. 
- The beginnings are exactly the same: both are orphaned pretty much, due to the deaths of their parents. In Fruits Basket, she stumbles upon a house in the forest when she was trying to build her own tent there on a rainy day. In Momochi, the female main protagonist inherited the house.

-Modern romance with japanese mythology and folklore
-Both male protags are white haired fox(..?) spirits
-Both fem protags are girlboss girlfailures who lost their family and regain one with mythological beings while developing their own supernatural abilities

a lot of people consider this to be extremely similar to kamisama kiss, for very obvious reasons the moment you pick either up its very similar, but in a good way. you can tell momochi-san is going in its own direction too so dont think it's a carbon copy

-Both are romances that have folklore and mythology, as well as childhood stories, and they both are about a girl wanting to save her love interest from a curse
-Both male protags change into a different form that has something to do with cats (Nue's cat ears and Kyo being the cat)
-Both fem protags are stubborn girls that just want to help everyone, but above all, save the main guy
-Both stories have a girl move into a house with 3... sometimes more.... men... who also are mythological!

Both animes are traditional shoujo animes where the main character can see ayakashis/ghosts. They both befriend and live together in same household. Lots of romance and wholesomeness going on

Fruits Basket 2nd Season addpermalink

If you’re looking for an AU where Tohru ends up with Yuki, then look no further! The MC’s share very similar personalities. Himari Momochi from The Demon Prince of Momochi House and Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket unite in their orphanhood and bright, strong-willed personalities. Just trust me when I say that Aoi and Yuki are also similar. (And of course) there are elements of magic/yokai in both shows!
