Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta

- School romance / romcom. - A series of misunderstandings leads to an eventual relationship. - A popular (or, popular-ish in Mie’s case) girl ends up falling for an unpopular guy, dropping not-so-subtle hints. - Unlike most other romcom series, the relationships both actually progress as the episodes go along. 

Both MCs have similar misunderstandings when it comes to a girl. Mie-san and Yamada have the same behavior in place, they are clueless about some situation that might happen.

A similar female mc, who’s kind, romantic and proactive; a similar male mc, who’s shy, boring, unspectacular and slightly annoying; both are slow-paced to the point you start wondering why did this get 12-13 episodes when the entire story could easily fit into 2 episodes; actually both are pretty fire for watching in the background (even better if you know Japanese, because it’s kinda soothing). And, most importantly, in both shows nothing happens… like, at all…
