Both of these animes depict the problems of the world where robots and humans cohabit . Both of them show us the emotional state of robots and them facing personal problems. If you liked Ai no Idenshi then there is a huge chance you will like Eve no Jikan as it executed the concept better in my opinion.

Robots and Ai's living together with humanity in harmony. Both show make us wonder about similar topics, like- "What is really the difference between humans and robots?" "Can robots have their own heart and soul just like humans?" Same vibes, Ai no Idenshi has less violence, more focused on everyday life, while Pluto is more about solving a case.

Made by Madhouse, both of these are sci-fi/psychological anime have similar art style and vibe. They both try to address complex issues that revolve around human identity, morality, and memory. Both anime presents a story about humanity trying to co-exist with a different life form that not only challenges human identity but also human morality. In both stories, the main characters has to juggle the complex issues that rise as these invading species try to blend into society. Parasyte is more action-heavy with lots of gore and lead by a main character who is compassionate and considerate. Gene of AI features a futuristic sci-fi world  read more

Each of these shows; during the time of their respective production, explores and illustrates the major implications & complexitys of crafting identity within an advanced technological world far ahead of its time. These shows aim to generate a deep thought provoking discussion about its implicit use of technology in the form of the metaverse (in relation to metaphysical identity formed in the internet vs real world) & artificial intelligence respectively.
