Synopsis

After the final downfall of the rogue Bakugan Naga, peace was brought back to Vestroia. With the help of Danma Kuusou, his companion Pyrus Dragonoid, and other Battle Brawlers, the Infinity and Silent Cores were combined and the realm was recreated.

However, New Vestroia will not be given any respite as humanoid alien invaders, the Vestals, arrive and conquer the Bakugan world in one fell swoop. Armed with a fearsome machine capable of restricting Bakugan into their ball forms, they aim to enslave the race as a form of entertainment.

Now, the only force standing in their way is the Bakugan Battle Brawlers Resistance—a group of humans, Bakugan, and Vestals who oppose the idea of annihilating a sentient race. Led by Danma, they must venture into enemy-occupied New Vestroia and repel the invaders, to assure the survival of the entire world.

The second season is much better than the first. While the new characters were fine, I still prefer the original cast, which made me uneasy about how the old characters were treated.

The pacing of the season was acceptable, and the opening and ending songs were okay, though they weren't particularly memorable. There was an improvement in animation and sound quality, and the voice cast's performances were solid. However, the portrayal of the villains was weak, similar to the first season.

The battle system was a bit confusing and complicated, but that didn't bother me much. Overall, I would recommend it if you don't have ...

Mild spoilers, nothing too big.

This is my first review so please give me some breathing room here. The first season of Bakugan was certainly enjoyable in it’s own right. Fun battles and tactics, good use of the game mechanics, and some interesting characters (especially Alice). Unfortunately, it was bogged down by lackluster pacing, an inconsistent protagonist, and a child-friendly coating that kept most of the darker elements from taking center-stage.

This completely changes with the second season: New Vestroia. This sequel takes what season 1 did right and expanded in ...

The next series into the Bakugan world really seemed boring as hell. The characters don't feel like themselves in this series. We get one girl out of three girls we get in the last series. They tried to keep Dan not stale but he felt too in the spotlight. I mean Dan and Drago seem like the strongest team out of everyone they had and no focus were there except for Dan,Mira,Spectra. The others were much in the background and the music in Japanese was the best out of the series. Ace and Baron felt boring and empty.
