Hokuto no Ken Zero: Kenshirou Den

Modern remakes of old shounen franchises, these anime feature manly protagonists in postapocalyptic setting and great looking fights. 

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is story about vampires and supernatural powers. But it is also a comedy. Granted, its a comedy with some drama mixed in, especially this season. But still, it is mostly comedy. And if you get the humor in JoJo's, you'll probably get the humor in Fist of the North Star too. It has a lot more drama, a lot more violence, but I think you can enjoy it the same way you enjoy JoJo's. And if you find JoJo's Bizarre Adventure to be a serious show and aren't happy about what I'm saying here, well, don't mind me, go ahead and watch Fist of the North Star, you'll like it for serious depictions of martial arts in the post apocalyptic settings. And if you are already a fan of Fist of the North Star, you should watch JoJo's, all of them. I've picked Hokuto no Ken Zero: Kenshirou Den out of all other movies cause I think its good entry for those who are not big fans of the older graphics. read more 

Both films act as prequels that shape our leading hero into a legendary man whose purpose is to bring peace and freedom. 

These anime focus on a legendary martial art passed for generations that hold the power of changing the world. In this particular addition of Shadow Skill & Fist of The North Star, there isn't much action but the story describes the need for killing as a method of protection. Shadow Skill: Secret of The Kuruda Style is purely CGI animation while Kenshiro Zero has traditional hand-drawn animation.
