Even though one of them is about music and the other one is school life, the humor is about the same where a pure heated guy gets into the wrong situation in some funny way

There like because how both main characters are innocent and wanna make friends but there classmates are scared of there appearances just shows you shouldn't judge book by its cover.

Both are delinquent comedies.

Despite feeling not being exactly the same, both MC are introvert, both MC thinks they are normal but other thinks they are not. A hug from others can solve the MC problems, but others ignore or try to avoid them.

School tugs with both MC's having quite unique faces and personalities! Found both settings of these OVA anime quite interesting and similar.

Which boss do you want to follow in your entire high school life. The scary one? Or perhaps the cool one?

A story about delinquent fights, quite funny misunderstandings, with each fight increasing their bad reputation, sinister looks thought kind characters

Onara Gorou and Angel Densetsu are about a gross and terrifying main character, but is more than what meets the eye as they are actually both sweet and kind. Both shows have low budget animation and lots of encounters with delinquents.

In episode 8 among others of hajime no ippo, we can see the similarity between the two protagonists, ippo thinks the same as seiichirou, ippo thinks his trainer is suffering just like seiichirou thinks with the characters, just like seiichirou thinks with the characters, it's not just that, you notice the charisma among them, among other things.

Older comedies. Both feature maximum ridiculousness.

He's a kind person at heart, but the mere sight of the MC is enough to scare most people away with his intimidating looks. They are comedy anime built around the idea of having a character who looks frightening and evil but they are actually a nice person. The main difference is that gokushufudou has an adult-cast while Angel Densetsu is a school anime.

not that alike apart from improving himself with helping others gets caught up with delinquents in both the anime. you'll enjoy both anime although i recommend reading manga for angel densetsu they only adapted some of manga.

if there is one thing i really get crummy eyes from its that both these ova's in the intro it shows chara or things that NEVER FUCKING HAPPEN in the anime itself!!!!!!!!!!, for example locke: lord leon shows 4 charachters in the intro, cornelia, the young luitenant ( both from the movie) a girl named amazona and a masked villain that walked straight out of the recording studio of saint seiya, and they DON'T apppear. Angel densetsu, one hel of a treat to watch BUT DON'T SHOW ITS WINGS IN THE INTRO WHEN THEY NEVER BLOODY APPEAR IN THE ANIME!!! to say some of the flaws of  read more

Comic situations, hooligans, school fights and a lot of positive.

Both have a male protagonist who is discriminated against based on their appearance, though they are actually a nice person.

Both main characters are kind hearted guys starting to a new school and seeking friendship. Also both being misunderstood and feared by others for their delinquent-like appearance (more close to demon-like for Kitano)

both anime are to many thats is unfinished too soon, but its still interesting to imagine what potential both could have been in if it found more inspiration to finish it, back in the old days it was you get what you get!!!

The main characters have a very peculiar face and that's a main driver of the action.
report Recommended by misterferrari
Just google "ikkaku face"... Both shows make a recurrent joke about the scary main character's face. Both protagonists don't realize they're scaring people with thier expressions. Both protagonists are students.

Two animes that are funny because of the MC main characteristic, one has a very powerful punch, the other a very scary face!
