Both series deal with main characters reincarnating into animals, pii was a mage that reincarnated as a bird and buta was a modern day man that reincarnated as a pig. I felt very awkward with buta in comparison to sasaki and pii mainly because the MC in buta is a degen and the series covers his self discovery as he helps a slave girl. Buta had the most interesting ending reveal in comparison to sasaki and pii mainly because the self discovery distracted me from the main premise. Buta is a slow burn so it will require patience vs sasaki which is more of  read more

Both of these anime: -made by Silver Link Studio. -fantasy/magic element blended with action and comedy. -features a middle aged protagonist. -cute mascot that was once a powerful entity. -government organization that wants to combat the disruptions and wants to recruit the MC. -stalkers. -young girl has "crush" on the middle-aged MC that will make you raise your eyebrows. Both anime overall has similar vibe. While Lv1 Maou is more laid-back, Sasaki is similar but has more serious undertones. If you like one you'll most likely enjoy the other.

Both are action/comedy anime that has a powerful protagonist who tries to juggle normal life while being surrounded by people with psychic/super powers. Both Sasaki and Mob are guided by a "mentor" figure to achieve their goals. Mob 100 has more slice-of-life/school elements while Sasaki to Pii-chan has more isekai/fantasy element with office and adult elements. Both appear to have a laid-back approach while having a serious undertone.
