Both are short, few minute long anime that are more of a music video. Both are showing the birth of something in a trippy, artistic way. Both are underrated. Lost Utopia is more fantasy. 

Both are short music videos. Both are trippy, mindfucking, almost not making sense but still enjoyable. Extra is more dementia. 

These works are united by their singularity. It is rather difficult to tell from the first that the author wanted to show. As there are a similar depressive mood and terrifying music. 

They are both a short film. Even shorter than the average OVA. And most important; they are both fascinating!
