Wu Ying Sanqian Dao

Locked into a relentless duel, cultivation experts Cang Di and Song Yu fight each other until both reach their final breaths. This series is unappreciated, much like our protagonist.

Landed upon this donghua after completing most of the ones better rated than this, and surprisingly it was not a disappointment.

The MC Xu Wuzhou can be somewhat compared to that of Dubu Xiaoyao, but unlike that, Xu Wuzhou's character is far better developed, and his actions are more reasonable. and his actions are meaningful. On the surface, he appears to be an incompetent rascal, but his inner persona is scheming yet sensible, with a strong sense of self-respect. This makes him much more likable compared to similar MCs, such as the one in Dubu Xiaoyao.

The animation is generic ... of typical donghuas and need no separate mention.

The story is typical with good execution. The storyboard has many unnecessary scenes in S1 for the considered episode duration but are improved in S2.
The comedy is okay and not overemphasized.

Considering the MC's previous lifetime was equivalent to his respawn in current life, the character's development seems to be justified and not unreasonably great.
The power-ups on the other hand are sudden and unrealistic and probably the most unreasonable part of the series.

The female characters do not seem to be fawning over MC unreasonably afais, which gives a breath of fresh air.

Plotholes are everywhere but nonetheless it is still a good watch and not frustrating like some other names.

Wu Ying Sanqian Dao is an adaptation of the ongoing novel "Eternal First Son-in-law". This has 10 episodes with an average length of 8 minutes, and this is not enough to introduce the entire background of the story. This donghua serves to be a decent promotion for the novel. It lays out only a little about the background setting of the novel, considering the duration of each episode. Scenes are not continuous and random, which is understandable considering how much they've tried to fit in to the donghua to make sense.

As for the characters, Xu Wuzhou was thought to be a trash and our main ... character continues the facade until the need for him to display his power arises. Speaking of powers, he shows powers only to the extent capable enough to defeat his enemies. His powers are like a cheat code, gaining levels and skills easily. It's a fun watch considering how he ends up being misunderstood easily, even after being fairly OP.

Mixed Feelings

This anime could have been a lot better if MC was not a fool and worthless shit. Always overestimating himself and fooling around.

having the world's strongest treasure and not knowing how to make use of it, and being reckless instead of focusing on cultivation. An awful character.

Anime has a lot of extra motions for fighting moves, and the story is average.

The animation of this dongua is great, only lacking a good story. It would have been a fun anime to watch if MC knew how to make good use of his abilities. I mean, the point of being reincarnated is to be smarter than ... your previous life, but watching him behave in a shitty manner forces us to think of MC's past life and how big of a trash he was.
