Yuusha Keisatsu J-Decker

J-Decker does the same kiddy SatAM aesthetic as GaoGaiGar very well. The difference is J-Decker is less focused on being an action series; it is, odd as it may sound, the more cerebral sci-fi show. There is a constant undercurrent of sci-fi in GaoGaiGar that mostly serves to prop up the action. J-Decker takes the same sci-fi as a way to explore characters. Super Robot action results in both cases, but with different sorts of stakes at play. J-Decker is like GaoGaiGar if GaoGaiGar had less Gai and more Mamoru and if it gave the Ryuu-bots more time to develop as characters. In the end it has a lot of the same flavor as GaoGaiGar, but in different balance. read more 

Both are mainly police and robot themed shows, with the occasional occult or bio monster showing up. While in different ways, both effectively cover the whole spectrum from dead serious to purely gag driven episodes. 

If you liked Brave Police J-Decker for the robots, you might like Iron Leaguer as well. They are both Sunrise animations, and robots are the main characters as well. The main difference is A: Iron Leaguer is a sports anime B: Iron Leaguer robots look a little more like mascot characters and are smaller in size But they have a pretty similar tone, and a lot of episodes can range from sillier to more serious, similar to Brave Police J-Decker. Also they both have fantastic openings 

They both have a really fun tone overall, and if you love sentient robots, you're going to have a fun time with either show. Victory has more fight scenes, but there are a LOT of really fun scenes with human/robot interaction. Also, the designs are very similar (since they had the same designer for the robots). 

Both are mecha anime involving young kids working together with robots in a police force. Main difference is that in J-Decker the robots are sentient and in Drive Head they're just regular robots piloted by humans. In both shows, girls tend to fall in love with the robots, regardless.
