Satou Kazuma and Natsuki Subaru both know a lot about Isekai because they play a lot of games about Isekai or other worlds. After watching Kazuma then watching Subaru, it was very exciting.

The main character who is not talented in magic is reincarnated as the seventh prince, he then learns magic to the point he becomes invincible at anything. So far it is not known what this weakness is.

The overall comedic style of Konosuba and Gintama are very similar. You should expect a ton of laughter from either show! Both are about a group of people. Each person has their own personality. And both groups go around doing sort of "odd Jobs." They are both hilarious with a ton of great written jokes and amazing comedic timing. I watched both of these for the comedy and the absolutely delivered!

Comparing two series with vast discrepancies in length is, in some ways, unfair; Gintama has had more time to grow and develop than Konosuba already has. However, there are still many ways in which the younger of the two punches above its weight and allows for comparison to one of anime's most beloved titles. Konosuba wouldn't be what it is without the unique dynamics of its four main characters. Kazuma's interactions with each of his female characters are varied enough in their individual dynamics that each episode remains chaotic. It is in this unpredictability that Konosuba, with plots and characters that always subvert expectations. Perhaps  read more

Same director, same comedy type. Both are isekai-comedy and minor romance.
