Comparing two series with vast discrepancies in length is, in some ways, unfair; Gintama has had more time to grow and develop than Konosuba already has. However, there are still many ways in which the younger of the two punches above its weight and allows for comparison to one of anime's most beloved titles. Konosuba wouldn't be what it is without the unique dynamics of its four main characters. Kazuma's interactions with each of his female characters are varied enough in their individual dynamics that each episode remains chaotic.
