Both revolve around a guy surrounded by cute non-human women all competing for a male human's affection. They both also are pretty funny, with similar types of lighthearted/perverted humor. They're both on netflix, have similar characters, etc.

These anime both have sudden girlfriend appearances. In kanokon The female leads basically try to rape the male lead. In girls bravo its more of them trying to be his girlfriend ( exept for lisa who try to rape him and marry him)

Both of these animes are ecchis and quite similar in many ways, but Girls Bravo is particularly similar to this one eppy of ZnT because in eppy 12 of Girls Bravo (the first eppy of Girls Bravo second season) a giant octopus attacks the girls, just like in this OVA.

Both shows are based on a plot revolving around accidental interstellar travel of one or more of the main characters. Both shows have a lot of slapstick, ironic, ridiculous, and bizarre humor that you can't help but to laugh at while you think how ridiculous and bizarre it seems. Both shows also have a lot of ecchi topics. While Girls bravo has more blatant nudity, Those Who Hunt Elves has more foul language. Both shows are the second season which finishes up the series but doesn't really finish the storyline.
