Super Crooks

Similarities: These two shows have a lot of the same vibes and the art styles are a bit similar. Both shows are Heist stories and are built around a team of people with different kinds of abilities. They also both have a zero to hero theme where both shows start off with the character being poor and a petty thief and then do a big heist and become rich. Differences: Super Crooks involves superpowers and is based in a world filled with both superheroes and villains. where Great Pretender doesn't have any of that and is based in a more realistic world with no supernatural things.  

Both stories are about thieves, kind or not, and share a same vibe in the graphics style.

Lively set of characters that are labelled as villains/criminals in their world, tasked with (a) secret objective(s) that spans throughout the season's runtime. Super Crooks is similar to My Hero Academia and its superhero society, while Akudama Drive is similar to Cyberpunk Edgerunners and its cyberpunk/dystopian society.  

Both have a Japanese look at American superhero comics.
