They both focus on a cat who does mischief to its owner, and they are short comedies

Two slice of life shows seen trough the eyes of a domestic cat, with their inner monologue as off narration. Both pets think and comment a lot about their respective owners. Both shows manage to make me think "yea, this is probably how cats really think", i.e. they are very well observing and using feline antics. Kanojo has a more serious tone and drama (about the owner's life), Tsushima is pure dark comedy.

Same premise, but instead of an old lady, it's a young girl with human looking tiny cats. It is entertaining to watch and gives off a similar vibe to Ore, Tsushima.

Hoomans take in cats. Both series are funny, warm and fuzzy. But there are also some hints of sadness especially in episode 2 of Ore, Tsushima and episode 6 of Neko nanka Yondemo Konai. Follow the daily lives of Ojii-chan and Tsushima + his other cat pals in Ore, Tsushima, and Mitsuo, Chin and Kuro in Neko nanka Yondemo Konai.

Tsushima and Odakawa are the same people. A little large, honest talk all around, know how everything behaves, sometimes say funny stuff, they want what they want. It is crazy how similar they are for something so far apart. They come afar in solitary, get into a pretty unique situation, and life plays from there.

How this isn't already recommended is beyond me. But anyway, Pop Team Epic and I Tsushima follow the same over-the-top nature and absurd moments you would overwise never see in other anime. Of course, this is a given since both had the same Director Jun Aoki, be prepared for surreal madness.

Two slice of life shows seen trough the eyes of a domestic cat, with inner monologue as source of comedy. The two cats themselves are polar opposites. Chi is a young, curious, naive and playful female kitten living with a young family, whose young daughter is her best friend. Tsushima is an old, grumpy, smug, lazy and mildly sadistic tomcat living with two other cats and an old lady. Both shows manage to make me think "yea, this is probably how cats really think", i.e. they are very well observing and using feline antics.

These cats don't behave like normal cats. In consequence, it gets really surreal. Super surreal. I'd recommend it for some out-of-the-ordinary content you won't be found again anytime soon.

The MVP is an animal, a really peculiar one at that. These two entities, Dino and Tsushima, give you an experience you never thought was even possible. More true for Gal & Dino but they are both crazy funny stuff anyway. Both were made by Jun Aoki so you can already tell that I am not making this up.
