Both anime are isekai series with an OP female protagonist who is reincarnated, develops an unusual family structure, and spends most of their time living life at their own pace. Slime Taoshite is firmly into comedic SOL, while Leadale includes a mystery element as the protagonist wonders how she and others ended up in this world.

Both MC are stuck in a video game world to live out their lives. they are both OP from day one in the new world. they are both cute

Both series revolve around a game word where MC is stuck as their in game avatar after the game world becomes a reality. The stories both involve a time skip 200 years for leadale and 500 years for new gate where the MC reawakens after time has passed. Both MC maintain their skill levels as their in game avatar and their powers are legendary known throughout the game world as a prominent figure. Leadale has a female MC and new gate is male but they both have the same goal of reconciling with their companions and make it adventurous. Leadale has much better quality than  read more

Both shows have an MC who ends up living as their in-game character but ends up in an RPG world that is somewhat different from what they have been used with. However that is the only similarities as they takes different approaches from there. Overlord's MC starts a quest for world domination while In the land of Leadale is just a pure adventure comedy.

Funny premises on both animes with both of the main protagonist just guiding through their journey and its just pure comedy!

OP MC, very laid back show. Both are isekai and would scratch similar itches imo.

Two isekai anime from Maho Film studio directed by Yuuji Yanase with an OP MC reincarnated into their RPG-esque worlds after their irl death. A difference is that Kami-tachi starts off near the beginning of when Ryouma was isekai'd and starts on his journeys encountering humans in that world. In Leadale, Cayna had already existed for a long time but we start at the end of her 200 year hiatus from that world. Both shows have Azusa Tadokoro singing a song for (Kami-tachi's OP and Leadale's ED) and accentuate more on a good life in their isekai's so if you enjoy the light-hearted and humorous at time  read more

You're probably wondering what does an isekai and ol' shoujo romance have in common.... to be honest I don't blame you. Considering I'm only one episode into Leadale, this recommendation could age like milk. That said, I don't think you'll regret it. Leadale immediately goes down nostalgia route with the art style, and comedic chibi characterization (that reminds me of the lil brady bunch of Misaki's little followers). It's light energy and a refreshing watch. The plot doesn't seem to be heavy but progresses well (atleast according to initial watch as well as from hearing about others who have read the source material). As for  read more

Nichijou's a comedic high school slice of life whereas Leadale is ....a post...maybe...not quite afterdeath slice of life? Well, it's a isekai slice of life. Easy going, and about the same pacing. It has a similar pacing and gags if you will.

What happens when you get launched into an isekai when you have RPG experience? Well, you get so OP to the point where there's no progression of things to defeat. That said, Konosuba and Leadale still manage to make it more adventurous and enjoyable then your average harem-based or action-packed isekai. Both Konosuba and Leadale take stabs at your average archetypes and don't take themselves too seriously...somehow turning something that's way too ordinary into an A-tier isekai. (..A-tier. And. Isekai. You heard it here first folks.) Both are one of few shows where even though the hero/hero party is OP, they can progress on in  read more

Both shows are about an MC that ends up living life as his/her in-game character and inside the game world itself but with major differences from what they're familiar with from when they played the RPG game by themselves beforehand. How to not summon a demon lord is however somewhat ecchi, something that is currently missing in the land of Leadale, other than that we just follow an OP MC on a grand adventure comedy with their new friends.
