Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru

The world's greatest assassin had sworn lifelong allegiance to the organization that raised him. However, despite his loyalty, that very same organization takes action to silence him, ultimately leading to his demise. Drowning in frustration and regrets he can no longer suppress, he finds himself in an audience with a goddess attracted by his exceptional skills. The goddess offers him reincarnation into a magnificent world of swords and magic so he can perform a crucial mission: prevent that world's destruction by slaying its hero.

Accepting the goddess' request, he is reborn as Lugh Tuatha Dé, the son of a noble family of assassins serving the Alvan Kingdom. Under the guidance of his father, Lugh learns new assassination techniques that significantly differ from the cold-blooded and unsympathetic killing style of his previous life. Furthermore, his other talents bloom, allowing him to meet new allies and acquaintances. Even so, Lugh knows that his efforts are far from adequate, because a monumental adversary such as the hero can only be defeated with perfection.

Honestly, I really enjoyed watching this anime. I was looking for an interesting rencarnation anime since I’ve already seen a few and wanted something new. I was a bit worried about starting it cuz of some negative reactions, but to be honest, I realy enjoied it!
It's not the kind of anime you'd seek out if you're after something epic or groundbreaking, but it’s a light and enjoyable watch to unwind with on the weekend.
I was a bit annoyed that almost all the characters are women; it would’ve been better to have some balance to attract more viewers.
Don’t judge it until you’ve watched the whole season, ... though—there are some awesome moments, but there are also parts that might feel a bit boring. Plus, it’s not really the type of show you’d want to watch weekly; it’s better to gather a few episodes and binge them for a better experience and to reduce the boredom.

Mixed Feelings

The show as a whole is okay, but the story feels kind of lacking. It almost feels like it couldn't decide if it wanted to be an isekai, a romance anime, a harem anime or an ecchi and ended up kind of but not really being all at once, and not in a good way. I can only hope that the light novel is better, because I would be really dissapointed. I want to like the show, but I just can't.
There are a lot of strange unexplained events that seem really off, and there's practically no character development at all. The romance feels like it ... came out of nowhere and all the girls, which by the way feel really shallow, immediately love the protagonist and trust him without question.
I personally feel like the story could have been longer and could have been made in a way that made more sense.

The show doesn't really have much fanservice (in terms of quantity), but when it decides to include some, they go all out. There's a scene where one girl is completely naked, but that's pretty much all the fanservice in the entire series.

The characters are really shallow, and additionally the protagonist has random super concrete knowledge on seemingly random things. It seems he just happens to know the entire periodic table by heart, including all the specific characteristics of each element, but it isn't a constant theme. He suddenly is an expert on the subject when he needs to, but then doesn't know more than a regular everyday person when he doesn't. It's just inconsistent

The animation is ok, although they could have made better use of 3D animation. They use it for unimportant shots, but somehow it always ends up looking weird.

It's an okay watch if you're bored and have nothing else to watch, but I would personally recommend you watch something else. If you're really interested in the story, I would tell you to go read the light novel, which I can only hope is better.

I hate when an isekai try to over explain the isekai.

Two whole episodes just to explain he was a great assassin who was betrayed and then reincarnated.
This could have been done through a short narrated montage.

You dont need an entire episode of a goddess info-dumping. Just get to the point.
Show me how powerful the character is through organic story progression. You dont need to show the audience a check list of abilities.

This is a boring anime, with uninteresting characters, and where nothing of interest happens.
I dont even know what this anime is about. The MC's goal is to assassinate the Hero. But ... thats not what the anime is about. Its just a bunch of stuff that happens.

This anime is like every other generic zero-effort isekai, except kids get r*ped in it.
Apart from shock value there is nothing.

I cant stress this enough: this anime has nothing. The characters are nothing. There is no presence to them.
