Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru

two romcoms with clueless male MC and easily embarassed female MC -ayumu is set in high school, clueless first friend is set in elementary school -ayumu has shogi as its theme, clueless first friend has no theming except for a bit of chunibyou 

The plot is almost the same, but this time we invert the roles. Absolutely wholesome 

The comedy structure is very similar Girl says some stuff to tease the guy > Guy says good things in a very open way > Girls get blushed 

Both have a cute but clueless couple with a cheery girl and an athletic guy who everyone around them is rooting for them to get together. 

I absolutely hate using this word, but these shows have the exact same vibe. A lot of the scenes and humor have a very similar feel to them. Even the character designs are almost exactly the same lol 

Same vibe of Senpai-Kouhai dynamic relationship with a sprinkle of tease here and there 

In both stories, the male lead and the female lead are in love with each other but won't confess their feelings, instead dancing around the issue even as they flirt with one another. 

Similar plot. Main characters play a game of teasing with romantic background.
