Both are from a similar genre - slice of life/comedy, both are set round a group of girls who attend a high school and get into hilarious situations. The cast in Hyakko does eventually involve most of its class whereas Diaoh keeps its initial close group of friends, but both are hilarious and worth a watch

Featuring four girls going to the same school and having fun together. The girls from each show are also very similar personality-wise.

the feel from A Channel's first ep is very similar to the feel from Hyakko. I hope they will be the same qua style in their slice of life genre since I really liked Hyakko :)

Its funny and Slice of life and torako can relate to miu.

Basically MoHS is a science fiction version of Hyakko with a shorter main story arc. It, too, is about a high school girl determined to get as much out of life as possible, involving her friends whether the want to be or not.

this anime, hyakko, has the same randomness pani poni dash does....i watched pani pooni dash first then a few months later found hyakko and loved it....hyakko doesnt have dubs..:(

Four schoolgirls and various quirky friends. Both involve decent plays on school-life anime cliches. Hyakko's humor is somewhat weaker (but less random), and lacks Lucky Star's otaku elements.

Character are really similar especially Miyako and Torako or Yuno and Ayumi. Both shows deals about ordinary life of four not-so-ordinary high schooler, while Hyakko is a little bit more "random" than Hidamari Sketch.

... High school girls? XD

Series surrounding mainly female characters. Both contain humor - but Hyakko's humor is more toned down. Also, both anime are set in a high school environment.

both are a 4 girl ensemble. Comedy, slice of life, and school life. Kyouko is alot like torako, both are energetic, leader (kind of ), but the rest are all different to each other. But both are pretty good anime series. So if you liked one, you'll like the other! I hope :)

Both series features: A group of cute girls doing cute things that are presented in a slice of life pattern. Both series also has a comedy, drama, and that lighthearted feeling involving the group of friends. As such, each of the girls has a different personality but all of them shares a bond. Both series has friendship as one of the themes in a small town with a school life setting.

Pikari is very similar to Torako. Loud, bombastic, tends to stick out in every way possible. Both Futuba and Ayumi are exposed and at the mercy of the unpredictability of Pikari/Torako. Setting is fairly similar too, with the new girl transferring to school and getting caught up in the "crazy" girls antics. Amanchu is a lot more pleasant compared to Hyakko's constant gags but both are great SoL comedies.

Eccentric girls (and some boys in Hyakko) just having fun at school. The way everyone has some kind of funny distinct quirk is the same in both of them, like the creepy one, the chuuni one, the horny one, and so on.

Have the similar type of craziness. Both fun to watch!

Humorous student life with kids doing stupid things they wouldn't if they were thinking beforehand

Both anime focus on teenaged girls. The main element of the anime is humor and comedy. A majority of the time is spent with the girls sitting around and chatting about various topics and gag related things.

Four girls, slice of life/school, funny atmosphere. I prefer K-ON!!, but, Hyakko is very good, too. Also, characters are similar Ayumi Nonomura - Yui Hirasawa (Yui is not so shy, though) Torako Kageyama - Ritsu Tainaka Saotome Suzume - Mugi / Mio

Both are school comedy anime with similar set of characters: high schoolers with their siblings on lower/higher level involved. While Hyakko focusses more on the 'Slice of life' genre, Hatsukoi Limited is more on the 'Romance' side. The primary characters of Hyakko are in high school while those of Hatsukoi Limited are middle schoolers.

School life based anime.

Similar style of humour, follows the lives of high school girls in an every day setting, albeit Hyakko focuses more on school than home like Minami-ke does.

Both are school comedies with similar feel to them and you can find similar characters too. Sora is more concentrated on club activities and love triangle though.

Both animes are comedies attached from short episodes(mostly 2 per series) that shows some funny stories about high-scool students. All characters are tipical in base but very bright

High school students mucking around is the general premise of both series'. Neither are parody or non sequitur heavy. The laughs generally come from the main characters' crazy machinations and odd behavior. Both series' also feature amusing student/teacher clashes.

Fairy is also a lighthearted comedy (with some action) but probably the biggest similarity and perhaps the best point of both series is Hirano Aya (Lucy in Fairy Tail and Ayumi in Hyakko).

Both are about a group of girls, with comedy at times
