Godzilla S.P is a very jargon-heavy kind of science fiction similar to Science Adventure series like Steins;Gate. Steins;Gate puts central focus on the idea of time travel with characters doing a lot of trial and error to get things right. Godzilla S.P, takes concepts from various fields, from mathematics, materials science, topology (some overlapping with the concepts discussed by Steins;Gate) all going towards the characters solving one problem.

Both are netflix adaptations of classical japanese monsters. Both have similar plotlines on which giant monsters attack japan and another moster comes to fight it.

Both feature Kaiju that humans have to fight against with giant robots, and both have good use of CGI that doesn't feel out of place.

Both anime series are about kaiju (monsters) emerging from the ocean then trying to invade the surface and wage war on humanity. All of mankind must work together in order to out-fight and out-smart the kaiju enemy that's constantly evolving into deadlier and deadlier variations of it's kind. Godzilla S.P. is more of a mecha/sci-fi anime with a great original story taken from classic Godzilla concepts. While Nobunagun is a really cool super power/sci-fi anime that reinvents the alien invasion sub-genre with it's gritty contrasting manga like art style, it's gunfighting, militaria otaku knowledge and historical concept. I would definitely recommend watching both. Thanks for reading, -Tooru25.

both presents to me one of the biggest shit problems of most modern anime in general: suspense and mystery in the beginning and then closes off unfinished or in a Terrible cliffhanger way, like money was running out or something . And i personally hated it dat Singular point was the victim of that, and we all know the story of deadman wonderland.... oh man what a shitfest ):
