The prequels were question arcs, these two particular titles are answer arcs. Two similar series where Main Character is trapped in time leap after death, trying to save her/his closest friends. Really well-written tragic stories.

Summertime Render builds a great mysterious condition and brings out an excellent plot with full of suspense and excellent action just like Re:Zero.

Same type of protag where they get an epic redemption arc and do cool stuufz in a new discovered world. Both isekai so yea.

If you loved the action, adventure, worldbuilding, and especially the focus on characters and character development from one of these series; you will love the other. Both of these series claims that shouldering the weight of being a hero or savior should never be done alone. With the help of friends and family, what initially seems too impossible of a goal may just become possible and possibly fester and twist in unprecedented ways. Overcoming these added challenges ultimately requires growth and understanding, and as both series progress the main characters will come to realize this along with their supporting cast. Steins; gate is an anime very similar to re: zero, mainly in relation to the protagonist's personality, both protagonists have a huge deconstruction when the episodes happen, both suffer a lot to reach their goal, time travel is extremely similar to the return of Subaru's death, who liked re: zero will certainly like steins; gate
