I★Chu: Halfway Through the Idol

- huge cast of colorful idol boys who attend a musical academy - the plot revolves around big contest that they all want to win - similar themed unit concepts — candy pop idols, goth kids, art geeks, samurai, etc. 

AGRONAVIS focuses on boy bands, while I-Chu is focused on male idols. Both shows features a predominantly male cast and with a musical theme, with a plotline that revolves around doing what you like and to pursue your passion. In addition, both franchises have video games made on their cast, and both shows have featured a number of great songs across the episodes that aired. If you enjoy slice of life shows and music themed anime, these shows are definitely for you.
