Comedy animes with animal characters working in office environments. Has somewhat similar art style and animation.

- same slice-of-life vibe going on - has a small joshikousei portion at the end of each episode - both are funny gag anime

Both comedy/gag/parody anime with an office setting and anthropomorphic animal characters.

Two shows with vastly different themes and tones that share many similarities. Anthropomorphic animal characters in a slice of life setting. CGI heavy animation. Series length / Time investment.

Both shows feature a cast of anthropomorphic animal characters doing normal slice of life type stuff. Odd Taxi is more of a slow burn noir thriller, while Salaryman is a comedy. Both are a bit odd but quite fun.

Both surreal comedies. Similar styles of humour. Both can have dark humour, Gokudolls is more vulgar, both shows have charm.

-Both have choppy animations but it's part of their charm -Pretty wacky artstyle -Banger OPs and EDs -Comedy -Unlike Gaikotsu, Africa no Salaryman has a bit of a plot towards the last episodes, what I mean by that is that there is a climax before the final episode where as Gaikotsu it's stories usually end each episode. -Africa no Salaryman is based of anthropomorphic animals working in a corporation (kinda like a spin-off of Retsuko) -Gaikotsu is narration from a skeleton who works in a bookstore -I honestly thought that the first episode both of these animes were hard to get through, but it was worth it -I found Gaikotsu a lot more  read more

both shows have incredible cast of 3 main characters that just ooze personality. both are masterworks in directing and animation. their ops are legendary. truly the 2 greatest shows of anime.

Both parody/gag series that often rely on silly humour. Both have unique settings and interesting characters. Both series have likeable characters as well as characters with such personality flaws that make them unexpectedly likeable due to the hilarity that ensues.

Both shows are lighthearted comedies that don't take themselves too seriously. Both gag anime with strange settings, both have slice of life elements.

Both shows are about talking animals in a 'human' world. Unlike Africa no Salaryman, there are actual humans in Shirokuma Cafe.
