No Guns Life

I think both anime share a lot of similar elements, starting from the main protagonists, both of whom have a strange head (lizard & gun) and no memory of their past. Secondly, both are set in similar dystopian worlds, with No Guns Life being more sci-fi and Dorohedoro being fantasy. 

Both shows have a similar style and vibe. The setting of both worlds focus around a gritty kind of lawlessness where crime and corruption run rampant in their location. Both main characters have something off about them. Their jobs are even quite similar. The characters that surround them are unique and strong in their own way with some exceptionally strong female characters. Worth mentioning that both opening songs are bangers.  

Similar dark futuristic theme Both have great production Honestly, while No Guns Life "extends" a bit more Cyberpunk is best at its fast paced development 

only a couple episodes in but, no guns life feels like they gave Batou his own hard boiled show. if that sound interesting to you, give it a go. 

Both anime are set in a future where human bodies are augmented by cybernetic enhancements, so they share quite a few similarities in terms of atmosphere and word-building. No Guns Life's Juzo Inui reminds me a lot of Batou from Ghost in the Shell, so there's that kind of similarity in terms of characters as well. 

Both have similar vibe, amazing character designs, spectacular animation and banger of a soundtrack. 

From the use of steam punk style augments and the shows near form of magic (as seen in Harmony) No Guns Life is incredibly close to FMA in setting, a lot more so than you may have thought at least. No Guns Life also has a similar deep story full of many mysteries that the main cast investigates and learns along with the audience. Many of the characters in the show are explored and given their own story (although in much less length than fma). Truly this show is worth trying, it's distinct and strange, but not overly esoteric. I'm enjoying it at least!  

It's another detective show, but here is a gun, one of the few that remain after a war, the anime is in a style between Cyberpunk and Steampunk, 100% recommended. 

-A future in which they use technologies that were used in the daily day and also in the war -The main character have similar present job and a similar past -A corpulent main character with a partner who has ability and relation with these particular technologies 

the story of both anime revolve around a Kid who try to escape from an evil corporation he run into the MC then he recruit the MC to protect him from the evil corporation ,a lady joined and help the Mc to protect the kid , later the kid and the MC find out some secret that link them with this evil corporation. this two anime focus on action, mystries and suspense the MCs of both shows have the same personality . the kids have the same personality . even the art style is the same . Overall Karakuri Circus is the closest anime to No guns life and they both worth watching. read more 

Both shows are set in the far future, mixing up elements of cyberpunk and dystopian fiction. They both have a gritty atmosphere, great action scenes, but what's more important, they have similar main characters - both Juzo and Chirico are ex-soldiers who have lost their memory and are caught up in an intrigue involving secret factions and military secrets. So, despite their age difference, I think both shows just have similar vibes to them. 

Cybernetic enhancements via use of robotic limbs, augmented brains and eyes etc for an ever evolving Transhumanism reliant society are the key elements that make both of these series one side of the same coin. Moreover the fact that the most up to date state of the art technologies are monopolized, or in the very least enforced to be used only for the benefit of those with the highest influential and financial power is also prevalent, not to speak of amputations being commonplace, in fact necessary for better body parts. 

Both series have: -main trio consisting of the MC and two younger characters (a boy and a girl) he looks after -they start off doing odd jobs for people and eventually reveal the MC's mysterious backstory of his time during a war -a mix of comedy and serious moments (though NGL stays more dark and serious most of the time) Most of the similarities between these shows are with the characters and how they interact with each other, rather than the worldbuilding (Gintama is about the samurai era with alien technology and No Guns Life is more of a futuristic cyberpunk setting) but they have a somewhat similar tone and style of storytelling for the serious parts and just unexplainable similar vibe read more 

Gritty detective stories set in futuristic urban landscapes, bridging the gap between science fiction and hard-boiled noir. Both anime focus on secret organizations and themes of child experimentation, but beyond the plot, they also share a similar vibe and atmosphere, mixing action with mystery, but also with some humor spliced in.
