If you are a fan of light-hearted shows in a fantasy world with comedy being the main course and side dish being served up with good quality art and sound, you have come to the right place. Have a good laugh, feast your eyes upon the beautiful art, soothe your ears upon the sound, and relax your mind to the tunes of this light-hearted show. 

They are lighthearted fantasy series featuring sometimes ridiculous comedic events, and a lot of things that happen don’t bear any consequences. There’s also a nice dose of cute girls in both. 

Both are magical girl anime that start off lighthearted, but grow darker as the truth of their worlds are slowly revealed. Both have a protagonist (Homura in MadoMagi, Yuuki in PriConne) with a similar backstory that is integral to the plot, but we won’t spoil what. If you already saw one of these series, you’ll know what the twist in the other is like. The main difference here, is that Homura remembers what happened, but Yuuki doesn’t until later.  

Same food related and comedy genre anime. And the MC's friend also has "secret" background story too. 

Both feature likeable and well-written anime girl protagonists who do cute things and fight evil.

Both are light-hearted slice of life anime. Nothing too serious, so you can enjoy exciting activities and wonderful feelings the entire time. 

Both are about magical girls trying to prevent a dimensional disaster that happened in the past from repeating itself.  

You can call me crazy whatever you want, because you’re gonna be asking me something like “why am I comparing a Moe fantasy anime with a child-caretaking / action thrilling anime?”or “How do they play similarily from each other?” I’ll give you a very deeper explanation to that. Recommendations aren’t really just when they look the same but it comes with what’s the quality of it. Alright, so Yuuki and Miri are alike when it comes to just being innocent characters and they happened to be in a threatening territory where they might get harmed. Kokkoro, Karyl and Pecorine are always protecting Yuuki in any danger and it always gives them a reminder of how it feels to be with him. The same thing goes for Kazuki and Rei when protecting Miri in any danger and it just felt like the only treasure they can experience after they get used in being with her. Sure these two are annoyed and the three I mentioned previously, they weren’t annoyed. The only annoyed among those three is Karyl. Kokkoro and Pecorine are sometimes aware or frightened when they see Yuuki in danger. Kazuki is also like them. Rei is on a neutral side because it just depends on what it is for him. The difference is that Yuuki can be attacked but doesn’t feel pain while Miri doesn’t get harmed or attacked. Just sometimes held hostage. Kazuki and Rei along with Kokkoro, Pecorine and Karyl are always the babysitters when it comes to watching over Yuuki and Miri. read more 

Smile Precure and Princess Connect have strong female leads who fight against fantasy villains. Both anime are very feel-good, while still holding good plots. 

"Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense" is exactly what the title says. A cute girl starts a VRMMORPG with her friend, but she only skills her defense and starts breaking the game. Everyone that liked the Isekai, Comedy, Action parts in Princess Connect! Re: Dive will probably also enjoy Maple's cute adventure. 

Both are mass isekai series, where so many characters got trapped inside an online game together. In both shows characters create and join guild, do quest and adventure together, sorta like in rpg styled game..

Both are anime based on smartphone games; and both are isekai as well (I'm not certain about this but based on the characters names I think Pricone is isekai. Wikipedia states that Shachou Battle is also isekai ...it's story is certainly lousy enough to be isekai.) Both anime have comedy, but the main selling point for both anime are the very colorful character designs and many cute girls. So if you want more relaxing and less serious isekai, these are for you. Difference is ... Pricone is better. 

this might seem like a strange comparison because at first glance both shows are not simmilar at all in their Synopsis but if you look a bit more deeply they are but fun series with that "over the top" feeling, Diebuster is a masterpiece that has it's fun and dark moments while Princess connect is cute and funny 99% of the time it has some incredible animation, lighting and color pallette. Also Nono and Pecorine have basically they same kind of personality, super dumb, happy, kind hearted but underneat all that they are very powerfull and know exactly what to do and when it has to be done. read more 

If you like adventures in a chilled way, both are perfect for you. We have a male MC and his troop contains only cute girls. They fight and save the world! Both are very relaxed and fun to watch as well. 

Wholesome anime with little action but MCs not a dumb guy in this one but is very OP, smart, calm and collective and has a harem which will get bigger as the show progresses.

food is about cooking and stuff like that but princess connect is about how they get those ingredients to make the food with other elements such as comedy , fantasy and slice of life over all pretty good show to check if you haven't watched it yet
