oldskool anime, violent and vicious as hell, both are simmilar in the armor and the explicit unscensored gore scene´s that u don´t see anymore in anime today! and both are cultclassics! 

Sold in a 3-pack dvd with M.D Geist. Similiar style animation. 

Vicious otherworldy armored warriors, warning: 18+Not for young kids these days that are weakhearted! one anime ripped a bit of the other but u can see the simmilarity in it, and this genre was quite wellknown in japan those days! 

typical 80s cyberpunk OVA. Cyguard has a little less gore, but a great story too. while Cyguard is more cyberpunk 

Science fiction, demons, monsters and action are key defining factors for both anime. Shihaisha no Tasogare is more brooding and slow-paced, Cyguard has more action and power metal soundtrack... But both are very similar in style. 

Guardian of Darkness and Cybernetics Guardian are action-packed anime, filled with violence and blood from the early 1990's. They are stylistically similar by having our main character transforming into a powerful armor being that fights with special psychic powers. Both have a similar animation style and atmosphere. If you like, you should like the other.
