Koukaku Kidoutai: SAC_2045

Both series, at least as of the first two episodes of Black Rock Shooter, have a simmilar post apocalyptic cyber punk atmosphere involving action riddled fights with robots, cyborgs, artificial inteligence and humans. Also both are 3d animated series that look simmilar. 

If you are looking for recommendations after completing either of these anime then you are not bothered by 3D computer graphics animation. That being said, Ajin and Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 are centered around a conflict between humans and non-human entities (Ajins and Post Humans). Government players are trying to capture and control these non-human entities while the Ajins and Post Humans are pursing their own agenda for society. People will always judge Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 more harshly because it does not measure up against other titles in the franchise, but it is an enjoyable series. Ajin was also surprisingly good. You might as well judge them for yourself.  read more
