Shounen doesn't involve romance. I've seen quite a few Anime fans who use this argument to dismiss discussions of who the main protagonist in a Shounen work will end up with. The problem is, instead of being an accurate statement, the statement instead is a red flag to those of us who've seen quite a bit of Anime. We know that person isn't as familiar with the Shounen demographic (not genre) as they think they are, but the intent of this list is to help others better familiarize themselves with the genre.

Mitsuru Adachi is a Japanese manga artist.

Adachi is well known for romantic comedy and sports manga (especially baseball) such as Touch, H2, Slow Step, Miyuki and Cross Game. He has been described as a writer of "delightful dialogue", a genius at portraying everyday life, "the greatest pure storyteller", and "a master manga artist". He is one of the few manga artists to write for shōnen, shōjo and seinen manga magazines, and be popular in all three.

Contains romance that has complexity and reflection to real life story. The portrayal of the characters are deep and rich in personality & emotion.

Not your basic stereotypical romance anime. Best suited for you, who enjoys the ‘elitist’ list in korean drama version.
