Black Fox and Kill la Kill have a similar premise. A girl seek justice against the murderer who kills her dad. Both series are set in a futuristic society where advanced technologies is widespread and can even grant or enhance super powers. Black Fox includes investigation whereas Kill la Kill is straight confrontation until the truth is revealed to the main character. Kill la Kill is arguably more entertaining.

Both Napping Princess and Blackfox are about a teenage girl trying to protect her father's research from a large company. In both films the company had previous connections to one of the girl's parents. Also in both films the girl's mother died pre-story. (At least, that's what I assume happened to Rikka's mom. Kokone's mother was explained to be dead.) Both main character's assisted by machines Kokone with her tablet and self-driving motorcycle, and Rikka with the animal drones. Kokone carries a stuffed dog that used to belong to her mother, and one of the animal drones, Oboro, is a dog. Doggies for the win!

Both are about a girl and her newfound powers (ninja gadgets in Black Fox, magic in Nanoha) fighting against a dangerous mad scientist who would use their own daughter to accomplish their goals. Lots of action in both.

The basic premise of Black Fox and BNA is a girl finding the truth about a life changing event with the help of friends. Rikka Isurugi (Black Fox) is investigating her family's murder and hunting those responsible for it. Michiru Kagemori (BNA) is investigating the cause of her transformation into a tanuki girl and uncovers a vast conspiracy. Both titles are set in societies with advanced technologies that play an important role in the stories. Anyone looking for a sci-fi anime with action and mystery (and without mecha or space) will find them interesting.

Ninja spies using gadgets to fight against an evil organisation from within the shadows. Contains lots of ninja and spy cliches. Both also have elements of superhuman abilities and ninja pets.
