Episodic criminal cases are taking place in England, mostly among members of the upper castes. There are no murders though, just theft or fraud. The protagonist solves the cases with his/her helpers, who live in the same apartment. In short, you get some unbloody criminal hunting in these titles.

Both are mystery anime Katri gives me a similar feel to Chitanda

Both are more shoujo anime, aimed for kids. Though, both are very mature, much more than your average anime. Sakura is mostly episodic telling a new story each episode about a card doing some mess, and Layton is also almost episodic telling a new story each episode, but about cases that our detective solves. If you like one, you will surely like the other one!

Both series are about the inhabitants of a Detective Agency that solve cases they get involved into. Also, both main charaters, Conan in DC and Kat in LMDA, get looked down to and have to prove themselves thought their series, Conan because he's now a kid and Kat because his father, professor Layton, was the one who solved mysteries. So, if you are looking for a detective anime that won't make you wait until 2099 to see the end of it, I think LMDA is a great option with its light mysteries and interesting characters.

Also a Professor Layton related property. Puzzels and characters are used in the same way.

Both about solving mysteries, the smartest one is the female MC and the story goes in a comedy vibe.
